About Us

The Black/North SEAS project was realized in collaboration with many engaged partners and artists.  The initiator and main orgainser of Black/North SEAS, Intercult (Stockholm) provided the project’s management team. Intercult also produced SEAS Dock.

SEAS management team

SEAS Artistic director Chris Torch is the founder of Intercult and an outspoken advocate for intercultural action. Project director Adam Jeanes has worked extensively with international arts, music and festivals in the UK. SEAS Co-ordinator Corina Oprea has a background in performing arts and holds a MA in Arts – Cultural Management and Cultural Policies in the Balkans.

In 2009 SEAS got its own Marketing and Communications manager in Vanessa Ware, who brought on board her experience as project manager in web development and researcher on festival organisations in Sweden. A part of the team at Intercult was also Graphic designer Emanuel Onchu who joined SEAS from earlier work in Belgrade.
