SEAS CityScape
International conference in Odessa, Istanbul, Gothenburg, Tromso and Skegness
When the SEAS project arrives in a sea town it unlocks many questions about public space, the role of culture and arts in the re-thinking of post-industrial urban landscapes, about the engagement of politicians and public in the debates about the future of Europe's coastal communities, about migration issues, and many more besides.
CityScape is the forum which Black/North SEAS has created in which to debate these questions openly. CityScape brings international speakers and local experts in Cultural Heritage, Environment, Urban Design and Planning etc together with artists and cultural thinkers to create dynamic synergies between Arts/Culture and other sectors of the society. Over the time of the SEAS project, CityScape will map a transversal and intercultural Europe.
