Choreographer Sandström and performance artist from Scotland Biddlecombe visited The Green, the old market site of Aberdeen near the harbour which is in a period of refurbishment. Aberdeen is built on many hills and has many layers in its urban landscape.
They focused on methods of researching a site artistically and their photo documentation of the space used a small hand mirror as a device that links or divides or combines the different layers of the city.
Sandström and Biddlecombe were selected as the Scottish and Swedish representatives on the SEAS Xpedition where they continued their date and using mirrors as research tools and ways of interacting with the audiences.
