Oskar Östergren, film maker (Sweden) and David Leddy, theatre maker (UK)

Östergren is a film maker (working with Oscarsson) and Leddy a director and theatre maker from Scotland.

The artists visited two places, the amusement park “Sunset Boulevard” and the old Beach Ballroom, two very different places with the same purpose: to entertain people.

The locations offered a dramatic perspective on the impact of a certain location and the story which might be told there. Tragedy, happiness and lost glory were the words used by the artists to describe the place.

Their suggested project was based around “a walk”, something that could last over a period of time, using GPS technology in smart phones to create an interactive artwork where the audience took part in either a walk or a game that leads them to a series of different sites in the town.
