Bedirhan Dehmen

Bedirhan Dehmen is based in Istanbul/Turkey. After wrestling professionally for several years, he began dancing at Bogazici University Folklore Club (BUFK) in 1995.

Between 1995-2000, he worked as a dancer and choreographer in the dance-music performances of BUFK. Since then, he has been a member of Bogazici Performing Arts Ensemble (BPAE) and has been dancing in and choreographing for the productions of BPAE; and created in close collaboration with the music and theatre branches of the ensemble. Bedirhan Dehmen holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Sociology from Bogazici University. He is writing his doctorate dissertation, concentrating on “Theatricalization of the Dance Scene”.
