During SEAS Gothenburg David asked various members of the SEAS artist and management team to reflect on the odd celestial fact that as the earth goes round the sun it is actually out of sync with our calendars and that we have to ‘artificially correct’ this discrepancy every four years with a Leap Year What would happen if we did not? Would we have “extra time”? And if we did, what would we do with it? The piece contains amusing and thought-provoking reflections and touches on the attitude to time in different cultures.
